Woljeonggyo Bridge — a defining first view.
A first-hand photo record of Woljeonggyo Bridge in Gyeongju. The series follows the changing light and spatial atmosphere.
VISITED & RECORDED
남천 위 붉은 누교와 황금빛 조명이 수면에 길게 번지며 경주의 밤을 완성하는 다리. I photographed the changing weather and pace of people while walking slowly through Gyeongju.
PHOTOGRAPHY NOTE
I framed the series around 강변 산책로에서 바라본 웅장한 다리. In the following images, I stepped back enough to include 교각 사이로 길게 번지는 야간 조명, keeping the real scale of the place in view.
TRAVEL TIP
Gyeongju heritage sites feel very different by day and night. Stay outside protected lawns and boundaries, and consider staying from sunset into the lighting hour.
