A first-hand photo record of Daereungwon Tomb Complex in Gyeongju. The series follows the changing light and spatial atmosphere.

부드러운 능선의 왕릉과 오래된 나무가 도심 속에서 신라의 고요한 시간을 이어가는 공원. This archive was made while moving between streets and viewpoints in Gyeongju.
PHOTOGRAPHY NOTE
I framed the series around 도심 안에 남은 신라 왕릉의 풍경. In the following images, I stepped back enough to include 고분 사이로 저무는 대릉원의 시간, keeping the real scale of the place in view.
TRAVEL TIP
Gyeongju heritage sites feel very different by day and night. Stay outside protected lawns and boundaries, and consider staying from sunset into the lighting hour.
